The filter material inside is a filter bag, effectively removing dirt, pipe scale, and other contaminants from process fluids such as water, chemicals and petroleum products. The product can also be used as a filter before a pump or as a filter after pumping.

The liquid enters the filter housing above the filter bag or filter basket, flows down and continues through the filter elements. Solids are trapped inside the filter bags or filter and are easily removed when filtering. The filter housing design provides a large filtration area at the bottom of the basket to accumulate particles around the filter bag.
