Service Grade Polypropylene Membrane Filter Cartridges aredesigned for general purpose use wherever a cost effective, hydrophobic, chemically inert membrane filter is required.Designed to hold the maximum amount of filter media that canbe effectively utilized in a cartridge, GPM filters lower the costof filtration. GPM cartridges are flushed with high purity waterto remove potential extraneous manufacturing debris. They areoften used in place of PTFE membrane because of the lower costand low extractables.
PPM Membrane Filter Cartridges are manufactured for thespecified needs of the pharmaceutical industry. Manufacturedwith inherently hydrophobic polypropylene membrane, thesecartridges are designed for use in the filtration of aggressivesolvents and as compressed gas and vent filters. Each cartridgemodule is individually diffusion tested using 60/40 IPA and waterbefore it is released from manufacture. The cartridge surface area, filter core design, pleat configuration, and pleat packing densityhave been optimized to provide increased cartridge life resultingin lower filtration operating costs. Rugged construction ensuresrepeatable steaming and testing.
EPM Membrane Filter Cartridges are designed to meet the specialneeds of the electronics and high purity chemical industries.Materials of construction were chosen for their compatibility withchemicals and solvents used in electronics manufacturing. Thecartridges produce minimal extractables when exposed to typicalprocess chemicals and solvents. Each cartridge module is pulsepower flushed until the rinse effluent reaches 18+ Megohm-cmand less than 3 ppb TOC. Each cartridge module is also individuallytested to ensure it is integral. These membrane cartridges shouldbe used when high performance filtration is essential for highprocess yields.
